Abstract

The primary objective is to analyze how personal effectiveness competencies, such as proactive, digital literacy and continuous learning, influence sustainable organizational performance, under the mediating role of employees' job performance. The article aims to define and put into practice the concept of "personal effectiveness competency", "job performance" and "sustainable organizational performance" within the context of South Korean multinational manufacturing enterprises operating in China. It seeks to construct a thorough model by examining existing models, focusing on sustainable organizational performance. The findings of this conceptual paper reveal a robust and significant relationship between these variables. Since the framework utilized in this study has been internally developed by referencing prior literature, applying generalization may not be appropriate. It is advisable to conduct further research to empirically validate the model within the context of South Korean multinational manufacturing enterprises operating in China. The paper facilitates a systematic examination of employee competencies within organizations, with the aim of achieving sustainable organizational performance and gaining a competitive edge.
