On dependent families of sets

Abstract

In this paper, we consider improved inclusion-exclusion identities for dependent families of sets, where a family of sets {Av}v∈V, is called dependent if ∩z∈X A2 ⊆ ∪∉X Av for some non-empty subset X of V.
