Abstract

This paper examines quorum queueing systems with N-policy by considering different arrivals
cases. In this model, the server is idle when the queue size is less than r; otherwise, it operates R
units or less. The probability generating function of queue size derives precisely under various
distributions of arrivals. The random walk is analyzed using the first excess level theory.
