Abstract

Nested balanced treatment incomplete block (NBTIB) designs are introduced for comparing test treatments with a control treatment. Several methods of constructing such designs are presented. The methods of construction use balanced treatment incomplete block (BTIB) designs and nested balanced incomplete block (NBIB) designs. A catalogue is included of efficient NBTIB designs with v ≤ 16 and r ≤ 30.
