Some binary codes from symplectic geometry of odd characteristic

Abstract

The binary codes obtained from the strongly regular graphs defined by the primitive rank-3 action of the projective symplectic groups PSp_2m(q), where q is a power of an odd prime, and m ≥ 2 are examined, and bounds for the minimum weight of these codes and their duals are obtained.
