On recognition property of some projective special linear groups by their element orders

Abstract

In order to get a general view for characterizing projective special linear groups by the set of their element orders, we study these groups in low dimensions. In particular we show that the group PSL5(4) is quasi-recognizable and the group PSL7(4) is recognizable by the set of element orders.
